These terms govern your purchase and use of Squeaky, a desktop application for Windows operated by Some Dude Solutions(“we”, “us”). By purchasing, downloading, or using Squeaky, you agree to them.

The product

Squeaky is software that runs locally on your PC. It analyzes what is said in a video file, finds words on your word list, and saves a new copy of that video with those words muted; your original file is left unchanged. All processing happens on your machine — Squeaky does not upload, publish, or redistribute your files, and it is not a streaming or content-distribution service. The muted copies it produces are for your own personal use. You are responsible for using Squeaky only with content you lawfully possess and in compliance with the laws that apply to you, including not distributing the output.

License

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Squeaky on PCs that you own or control, for your own personal use. You may not resell or redistribute the software or your download link, and you may not reverse-engineer the software except where the law expressly permits it.

Purchases and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe; their checkout terms apply to payment. After a successful purchase you receive a receipt and a download link by email. If Squeaky is not working out, contact support@somedudesolutions.com within 14 days of purchase for a no-questions-asked refund.

Accuracy disclaimer

Foul-language detection is automated and not perfect. Words may occasionally be missed or muted in error, and detection quality varies with audio conditions. Squeakyis provided “as is” without warranty of complete filtering, and should not be relied on as a guarantee that no objectionable audio will play.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Squeaky is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
