Privacy Policy

Squeaky is operated by Some Dude Solutions. This policy explains what data is (and is not) handled when you buy and use the app. The short version: your videos never leave your PC, and we keep almost nothing.

Your videos and audio

All video and audio processing — analysis, word detection, and writing the muted output file — happens locally on your computer. Squeaky does not upload, stream, or transmit your media files or their contents to us or to anyone else.

Purchases

Checkout is handled by Stripe. They collect and process your name, email address, and payment details under their own privacy policy. We keep a record of your order (name, email, and order details) so we can answer support requests, re-send download links, and process refunds; we do not see or store your payment card details.

The desktop app

Squeaky requires no account and works offline. If you enable the optional update check, the app periodically asks our server whether a newer version exists; that request carries no personal information and is not used to build any profile.

What we don’t do

• No user accounts or passwords stored by us.
• No analytics or tracking inside the desktop app.
• No sale or sharing of personal information.
